Philippe has a background in engineering and business administration, with a focus in software innovation. In 2011, he joined HPC-SA Company as Associate Director and Commercial Manager of the ArchiWIZARD® product. From 2011 to 2015 they established the first French real-time 3D thermal simulation software that was integrated with a Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflow. In June of 2015, Philippe and his business partners sold ArchiWIZARD® and founded EnerBIM. With EnerBIM they have focused on continued innovation in energy modeling as it relates to BIM. Their first product BIMsolar® is helping accelerate the adoption of BIPV by leveraging the BIM workflow when modeling PV performance and how it relates to the building envelope. BIMsolar® has received funding from the European Union and is now integrated with the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program “PVSITES” that focuses on driving the widespread adoption of BIPV technology. Philippe sees BIMsolar® as a unique platform to connect architects, manufacturers and building engineers to the many benefits of PV technologies.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]
A 10 year veteran to the solar industry with an extensive background in solar installation design and operations as well as architectural solar product development. Chris is a licensed professional structural engineer. In addition to his efforts with ASA he operates his own solar product development firm SolMotiv Design where he consults directly with the full value chain of both the PV and curtain wall industries. Chris is a co-inventor on 3 solar technology patents as well as 3 pending patents. Chris holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]
Over his 36-year career, he has spanned a range of disciplines related to business development, international business, and project and technical management. He has founded and led several not for profit associations including the Emirates Solar Industry Association (ESIA), Saudi Arabia Solar Industry Associations (SASIA) and Solar GCC Alliance aimed at furthering the growth of solar energy in the Middle East.
